IBPYP I & II Annual Class Presentations
“We must all do theatre, to find out who we are and to discover who we could become.” – Augusto Boal
In the grand culmination to another year of learning, PYP I and II learners dazzled audiences with tremendous performances in their Annual Presentations of Trolls and the IB Clinic. We were transported to fantastical worlds with enchanting sets, mesmerizing costumes and a soundtrack bringing enthralling stories to life.
The trolls and bergens inspired us with their quest for true happiness while the IB Clinic prescribed the perfect antidote for each learner’s unique idiosyncrasies. Dialogue delivered with quick wit and moving expressions along with the soulful choir’s accompaniment elicited laughter, joy and delight! Throughout this process, learners gained invaluable experience in teamwork and collaboration, enhanced self-confidence by showcasing their talents in front of an audience as well as a sense of responsibility and commitment in playing their respective parts. Most of all, it exemplified the magic of make-believe, and how together we can bring new worlds to life.
LAI – Farewell and Good Luck Party
The tradition at LEARNING ALLIANCE INTERNATIONAL is to celebrate the academic journey of our outgoing DP II batch, graduating to university with a farewell and MYP V advancing to DPI with a good luck party. We at LAI believe events like these help foster a sense of unity and belonging amongst our students, as they cherish good times spent together.
For this, the students of DP I and MYP IV organized and hosted a Farewell and Good Luck Party with the theme ‘Basanti’ – rejoicing in the festivities that spring in Punjab brings; color, kites and culture. MYP IV and DP I had prepared funny skits and interesting titles for their seniors and teachers, all in good humour. The faculty and students amid high emotions and nostalgia attended the evening followed by dinner.
LAI offers three rigorous IB programmes, PYP, MYP and DP: culmination of these is marked through a graduation ceremony held annually for the students of each programme. To commemorate this academic journey, on Friday, 26th May 2023, LAI hosted a Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2023, marking a milestone for our DP II, MYP V and PYP learners. Our students dressed up in elegant regalias, donned sparkling smiles and enjoyed the IB Graduation with their peers. The ceremony was attended by the members of IB Admin, esteemed faculty and the proud parents of the graduates.
A compilation of PYP, MYP and DP ‘Life@ LAI’ marked the opening of the ceremony. The audience went down memory lane with a visual journey of our IB students while our graduates reminisced their time spent at the institution. With dreams in their eyes and aspirations to take on new adventures, our graduates marched to the ceremony arena under the spotlight symbolizing their glorious future and their magnificent milestones met so far.
We wish our Class of 2023 the best for their upcoming endeavours!
